There are three basic steps that need to be done to build a website:
Buy a domain name -> Create your Hosting Account-> Select a website builder to ‘build’ your site

2. Create your hosting account
After the purchase of the domain, then you need to find a company that provides you with a server ( large computer with huge memory disk availadble ) to host the files of your website. The files of your website, text, photographs, videos etc., are published to the Internet via a server.
A monthly fee is required in order to host these files on that server. The Server may be located anywhere in the world. Having the appropriate login details from your hosting company, you can access the server (you have chosen to host our website) and “upload” files to the server from where they will by published on the internet.

Since you got your domain from Godaddy and you created your Hosting account with Hostgator, you need also to set correctly your name servers to Godaddy. That means that you need to inform Godaddy that the files of your domain ( of your website) will be hosted to Hostgator. 3. Choosing the best website builder
